anyways here's tonights progress. very minimal unfortunately :/ I was superrr busy today and only had fragments of like 20 minutes to work! but here she is...

startedddd some work/PLANNING on the make-up/accessoriessss and Im getting REALLY ancy to start them!! as they are the most important part of my artistic theme if you will :)

woo! new painting time.

My show in June is coming up and I've got at least 3 pieces to add. So here we go! What Im gonna be doing-my theme, if you will-is using friends/ppl i know/anyone really with some kind of look i find unique, beautiful, having potential, and using them as my muse and then adding freakish/wierd stuff to them.

so for this one my muse is miss Tanya Alcala, a co-worker from when I worked at Urban Tea Loft.

She's got this really cool rocker/"hipster"-yes I said it in an unoffensive way-type of style going on. really pretty face and expressive as hell in the face. 

and ohhhh what  I have in store for this one. :) 

you'll have to stay tuned to find out!! ;)

just started to add the MONACLE muthafucka, and prepared the mini-hat..haha...

also some more face blending and some color-blocking on the hair :)

okay so...im really not digging how cartoonish this is looking...like at all...so hopefully i can finish up all the basic parts SOON and get back in there for some more detailing.

first of all i just wanna point out that as soon as i started writing this post i had some serious daja vu...just felt like i needed to say that incase someday it all comes together and makes sense that i had it...
its always good to track deja vu, like dreams...
anyyyways!
I call this one "Gentle Devil" because hes really strong and could be scary but look at his pose...looks almost feminine. I like playing with androgynous-looking things.

i know i know its been a while. what else is new.
anyways heres some newbies that im SO EXCITED ABOUT!! aka what I have been up to in the past...3 months or so. jeeeeez. They're all pretty much still in the works though...and this is definitely NOT all of the stuff I have...but heres a few that Im particularly hopeful about!
