update 12-16

first of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MAMA!!

anyways...
here's the finished product (i think) of my girl who I dont know the name of still...

the last night i was working on this was a really rough night and i was basically just balling the whole time...

so i decided this was the final product. so here ya go.

heres another one im workin on...theme is something to do with scoliosis...because with a 57 degree curve you can imagine it hurts me all the time...

so heres one i started forever ago and just did it in charcoal/colored pencil. and im reworking i with oil. which is tough since there are really fine lines...



and now heres a newby i just started i think he/she is adorable. we'll see where it goes.

still really messy, but im sure it will turn out pretty good. im feelin this one :)

I am taking my sweeeet ass time with her...and I really shouldnt considering im getting these professionally photographed for my portfolio on the 3rd...and I have at least 3 pieces to finish...

oh well, it'll get done! it has to! :D

I have been...out of comission lets just say lately. artwise, with all the changes i have been going through in the past couple months, my artistic vision is most definitly in transition and its weird because i dont kno where its going. so I feel like a lot of my work has been on pause, while I try and figure it out.
I have started a couple pieces that I get excited about and then again, I start getting confused as to the direction they're headed and I usually start something else...
jesus if thats not the epitome of art as a metaphor for life I dont know how else to explain it.
anyways here's some images of stuff I've been up to.

heres a couple works in progress...one has been in progress for quite a while now, havent been able to finish it-its at its last leg and i haate getting over that hump! and like i said, yoga has been hogging me...but anyways here it is..

and the second i started yesterday...

im not even sure how i feel about it yet, i know it will get there but it looks sooo different than the original sketch so its just not what i pictured at all, but hey thats usually a good thing anyways!

im sure i'll be updating a lot with these..i had a shitty day and skipped yoga and as soon as i got home got to work on the second one. and usually i *commit* to one "expression" or another, so since i skipped yoga im taking that as a cue that i internally want to *use* art now more (for whatever reason). And life's been uh, kinda shitty (again, for WHATEVERRRR reason), so that's usually when Im hardest at work.

So here's to Beauty in the Breakdown. lol

I couldnt wait anymore! i just had to see them all together. I submitted these and 2 other older ones (for those of you familiar with my work, "rehearsal" and "waiting it out") for abstraks magazine which I will be featured in next month (!!) :D

I started this piece one day after I had a reeeally bad night...it was while Richie was in Pittsberg and I was struggling with missing him and feeling alone and being in my head...anyways this is what I have so far. expect just a few more layers added on basically and some more bling around her neck. lol
